People come into your life for a reason.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,to
provide you with guidance and support, to aid
you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at
an inconvenient time, this person will say or do
something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk naway.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take
a stand. What we must realize is that our need has
been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is
done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and
now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow
or learn. They bring you an experience of
peace or make you laugh. They may teach you
something you have never done.
They usually give you anunbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
things you must build upon in order to have a solid
emotional foundation. Your job is to accept
the
lesson, love the person and put what you
have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life, whether
you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

It sounds good and all...But well... *sighs*

Holiday in September rocks =)

Because of the "most amazing week"-entries I didn't get to blog about the rest of my holiday. So here is a little summary of what's been happening since July 30th:

On August first, I started working. Basically I was just working during the first three weeks of August, so not much happened there.

Then on August 17th, I went to Köln (Cologne for you English people) for the launch of Anastacia's clothing line. I've been telling so many people about it, that I don't really feel like writing another long report here. Let's just say that it was BRILLIANT =)
Lot's of waiting (we arrived at 10.30, show was at 17.00) but lots of cool people too =). The clothes are awesome, too bad that for now I can't afford to buy any of it. And of course, the best part: ANASTACIA SIGNED MY BOOK =).
Yes, how awesome is that? I actually stood eye in eye with her for about 5 seconds =). She really is soooo sweet =).
Now lots of people have asked me: "A book? Why did you let her sign a book?" Well, let me explain that: the book I brought with me was the book Kriszti gave me for my birthday. So since I met Kriszti on the Anastacia messageboard, it meant quite a lot to me to have the book signed by Anastacia. Picture:

The book, surrounded by some other gadgets we got in Cologne.

Some other pictures (I just cant resist posting them XD) :

I got so excited when I saw this =) The shopwindow was full with Ana's clothes =)

Front row =) For the first time ever I got in front row at an Anastacia event =)
(Thank you Phylly for the pic!)

She's so happy to see us :P I think this was taken when we started to sing "We are faNily" =)

Right after she signed my book =) Too bad I haven't found a picture of the moment itself...Ah well, I got my memories =)
(thank you again to Phylly for the pic!)

So yeah, that was an awesome day =) Too bad I didn't spot Dan there, but well, we'll get our chance to meet some other time =)

Then after A-Day (as we like to call it) I worked a little more, and then on Tuesday the 22th, I left for the seaside. I had to take care of 2 little kids, which was quite alright...really tiring though...and frustrating sometimes. (long story :p) I was quite happy when I got home lol XD.

The day after I got home I went to Lessius (my college) to finish my registration there. So now i'm officially a college student =).

Then September 1st came, and for the first time in about 15 years I didn't have to go to school on that day. It felt quite weird, even though I had to get up at 5.45 to go to work (yes, an hour earlier than when I would have had to go to school lol).

So now I've gotten used to my holiday in September. It's brilliant =) Being home while all the other "kids" are in school is awesome =) The weather is really nice too =) I've been relaxing most of the time, helping mom with the kids and stuff. And sleeping... =)
Three days ago (on Tuesday) I met Ilke, to accompany her on a loooong bustrip to her college. She had to do some kind of test to check her voice. It was really nice to see her again =) We finally had some time to catch up with talking :p

Well, now I start to get the feeling that, even though I love this time off, school can get started soon if it were up to me. I'm looking forward to my first days in college =) But until then, I'll be enjoying the lovely feeling of freedom =) Jups, holiday in September definatley rocks =)

The Most Amazing Week (part 6)

The report of the last day of the Most Amazing Week:

Sunday was departure day. Me and mom picked Kriszti up in Antwerp around 8. We put the luggage in the car and left for the train station in Roosendaal, a village in Holland. There we bought tickets for Amsterdam, Kriszti said goodbye to my mom, I found the toilets, and we got on the train to the airport (Amsterdam Schiphol).
We arrived there around 12.30 (thank you Kriszti for posting the exact time, cause I didn't have a clue :p ). We then found a luggage-storage facility (okay, i made that word up lol). It took a while, but eventually we managed to put Kriszti's huge (and heavy!) suitcase in there.
We walked around the huge airport for a while and Kriszti bought some snacks for the trip. Then we found a place to have lunch (I swear I'm never eating pasta in Holland ever again...worse stomach-ache in ages :s ) and then we started walking around the airport a little more.
We went to the "roof" of the airport, where you can go outside and watch the planes. However, and I'll quote Kriszti, this was "not as much fun as it sounds". We went to the ground floor again, and went outside there. We sat down next to to fountain and took some more pics:

Me and Kriszti, sitting in front of the fountain. The last pic of us together...

The last picture we took...lol XD.

So then after a while we went back inside and looked at the flight information screens once more. But next to Kriszti's flight it said "Wait in lounge" which was pretty odd, since the check-in wasn't to be till three hours later... But just to be sure, we got the luggage out of the storage-thingy and went on our way to the gates. There we realized there had been a mistake, cause it wasn't open yet. So we just sat down near the gates, and waited... Those two (?) hours where pretty bizarre, cause I didn't want Kriszti to leave, but on the other hand, I wanted the waiting time to be over as soon as possible...cause just sitting there, being aware of the fact that you're gonna have to say goodbye soon is nearly as bad as the actual saying goodbye...Of the waiting time I don't remember that much...just that we made a really uhm...original drawing XD.

Then when the waiting was over I went along with Kriszti to check-in. I was quite relieved when the lady nodded that everything was okay with her papers and stuff...with this internet-reservation thing you never know...
I walked along with Kriszti as far as I could, but eventually we had to say goodbye. Hugging her and realizing I would have to wait a year to do that again, hurt me more than I had imagined it would. I walked away, but kept looking back as long as I could. Then I just went to the ground floor of the airport and found out that I had a train back to Roosendaal in about 20 min. Cause I couldn't bear just standing there with nothing else to think of than "a year is so long", I went up to the airport again, and bought some candy. I ate one of the little things in the package, and then forgot about it completely (I found the rest a week later in my bag).

Twenty minutes later I got on the train, and once again being alone with my thoughts was not very pleasant. But by the time the train got to Roosendaal I felt a bit better and managed to give my mom (who stood waiting at the platform, worried that I would forget to get off the train lmao) a smile. We got home a little hour later.

When I was alone in my room, I read the message Kriszti wrote in the book she gave me. The next 365 days, I'll be staring at it quite often....

The Most Amazing Week (part 5)

And here we are again...

The last days I have stood eye in eye with Anastacia, and taken care of two little kids. More about that coming soon, but first I gotta finish the "most amazing week" series.

It's been a month and a day since I said goodbye to Kriszti. I can't believe time has been going by so fast... So here is the report of Friday:

Friday was a calm day. We just did some more walking around Antwerp, looking for a chocolate shop (which we found of course). Later on we got some lunch, and took a bus home to my place. We ate our lunch there, and Kriszti was able to experience a little fight between me and my bro...Then she said goodbye to my brother, because she wouldn't be seeing him again, and we left for Antwerp again.
Then we went to a supermarket, where Kriszti bought some icecream and an APPLE (lol!)
On our way back to Scoutel, I bought myself some fastfood. I didn't stay too long, cause I had to get up early for work next day.

So on Saturday I had to work from 8 till 14, which eventually turned into 13, so I got to Kriszti at Scoutel around 13.30. We went to the city centre again, and Kriszti bought some more chocolate XD. I also showed her where I'd be going to college, and we had some icecream. Then we took a bus to my place, cause mom had "invited" us for dinner. Kriszti absolutely loved the food :) After dinner I asked mom if she could give us a ride to Antwerp, which she did :) So then we agreed that me and mom would pick Kriszti up around 8 the next morning, cause that was the day of leaving ...

The Most Amazing Week (part 4)

Thursday was Zoo-day =)

So I picked Kriszti up, and we went to the Zoo by foot (since it was only a ten-minute walk). We arrived there around 11 I think. We decided to just walk around, not in any particular order...so I can't remember what animals we saw first and stuff, but I know we saw a lot of them :p
Even though my feet hurt like hell, it was really cool :)
We had lunch in the restaurant of the zoo (which was yummie) and in the afternoon we went to see the sealion-show. We also did a little contest of who could make the most disgusting noice while eating an ice lolly XD. Kriszti is deffo better at that than I am :p

*realizes that we so should have taken a pic of us eating icecream*

Well, another picture then:

(please fail to notice the elephant-butts on the background)

We were tired of the Zoo around 5, and went to the supermarket. We bought some bread and, back at Scoutel, Kriszti let me try some food she brought from Hungary. It was this kind of livercream thing, which I'm not really fond of :p Maybe if I'd eaten it with my eyes closed, I would have liked it though... the taste wasn't bad.

Then afterwards I went home, to catch some sleep :)

The Most Amazing Week (part 3)

Part three of the Most Amazing Week: my 18th birthday (July 26th).

I woke up, and felt old immediately XD.
I went downstairs, but couldn't find anyone awake. So I just got ready to pick Kriszti up in Scoutel. Right before I left, mom came home from shopping, and wished me a very happy birthday =)

Then I got on the bus to Antwerp, and I got my first birthday-sms's =) I love birthdays =)
Then in Scoutel I picked up Kriszti (who ofcourse, wished me a happy birthday too) and we took the bus back to Sint-Job. At home we just hung around a bit, getting ready for the party. Oh, and Kriszti also insisted on taking a pic of me, my mom and my bro. :p

Then around 3 o'clock, Ellen, Ilke and Joyce arrived. We had a really good time, the only problem was the language-barrier. My friends were talking Dutch, which I can't really blame them for, since it's still our mother thongue lol, but Kriszti's Dutch is still very limited (lol) so she couldn't really follow our conversations. Joyce tried very hard to talk to her in English though, which I think was pretty cool =) During the all-Dutch convo's, I tried to tell Kriszti what we were talking about, so that at least she'd have a clue. I do noticed that all the attention-paying was really tiring for her...
But well, except for that little problem, the party was awesome =) Most of my family came over too :)

I got great presents: two little books about Hungary and Hungarian, a cute little cup, diddle quiz-thingy, me-to-you bear, shopping voucher, and Kriszti gave me the English version of her fave book: The Tragedy of Man by Imre Madách (which I haven't started reading yet, due to lack of concentration) . Oh, and I also got some yummie champagne from a friend of my mom's, whom I still havent been able to say thankyou to :s (lol, where is the grammar in that sentence?)
The food was good too (barbeque) and we took some really awesome pictures:

My fave picture ever =)
From left to right: Joyce, Ellen, Ilke, Kriszti, holding me. I have this picture on my bankcard =)

Ilke and Ellen... after some struggles to get in the right position XD.

Me And Joyce... again, after some trouble to get into the right position XD.

I love this picture. My eyes and smile say enough =)

Around 10 everybody had to leave. Joyce's sister, Debby, came to pick her sister up. Debbie works at the airport, so she's very used to speaking English =) This resulted in a very cool and funny conversation XD.
Then around 11 everyone was gone, and my mom offered us a ride to Antwerp, to bring Kriszti to Scoutel :)
Back home I helped mom a little bit, and then went to bed.

I really had one of the best birthdays ever! Big thank you goes to Kriszti, Ellen, Ilke, Joyce and Debby for that. And of course,to my mom, who came up with the idea and arranged everything. =)

The Most Amazing Week (part 2)

Yay here I am again. Lack of updates is due to only one thing: work. It makes me so tired that when I come online, I never feel like blogging...

But anyway, here is part two of the most amazing week:

On Monday I woke up quite early to take the bus to Antwerp, and pick Kriszti up for her first day spent in Belgium. We walked around the historical city centre of Antwerp, sat down somewhere for more than an hour and just talked and talked. We had lunch, and then got to the bus to go to my house. There we spent some time on msn, and then we had dinner. Spaghetti :D Then at night, we went back to Scoutel, and I took the bus home...
You can find a much more detailed report of this day at Kriszti's space =p

Me and Kriszti, in the back you can see the river Schelde

Then on Tuesday, I got up early (again) , took the bus to Antwerp (again) . I picked up Kriszti, and we went to the train station. There, we bought tickets for the train to Brussels. We arrived in our capital around 11 (i think...gosh i dont even remember anymore :s ) I noticed that the station looks a lot nicer when you dont run around there like crazy trying to find someone XD
Then outside the station we started our search to the "Grande Place" where I would start my very well organized tour *cough* to show Kriszti around the city.

We found the Grande Place, and after getting a map at the tourist info, we started our city walk. The walk brought us to some interesting monuments in Brussels... I didn't have much to say on all the stuff, but at least Kriszti saw the city =p The most important thing according to me was Manneke Pis (The Peeing Guy! lmao!) :D
Around noon, we decided that we would just find the royal palace, and then rest a bit and get some lunch. But appearantly, "just finding the royal palace" isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though we had a map, we didn't manage to get to it...Well we got to the place where it was supposed to be (according to the map) but it just wasn't there. Lol!
Anyway, we gave up on the royal palace, and went back to the city centre to find something to eat (and give our feet some rest! cause auch, mine hurt so much). We sat there for almost two hours I think, eating fries (yup, Belgian fries lol) and chicken. Sitting down felt soooo good lol. At some point, we started reading the first sms's we got from eachother =) =) =)

Then around 3 (i think) we decided to go to the subway, and get to the Atomium and mini-europe. So we got on the subway, but halfway the trip, the tram stopped at a stop (oh really? XD) and didnt start anymore. The lights went out for a moment, and we were asked to "leave the carriage". So we had to wait for another tram to take us to the Atomium. We finally got there around 16.30. We bought tickets for mini-europe, and walked around there for an hour. I'd never been there before, and I gotta say that it's quite fun :)
Some pics:

Kriszti in front of a mini version of the central square in Antwerp

Me in front of the Arc De Triomphe

When we'd walked through the entire "parc" of mini-europe, we both got an ice lolly, which was soooo good cause the weather was really hot. Of course, I managed to spill it all over me (and that includes getting it into my shoes).
We also bought a keychain with a picture of us posing with the mini-europe mascot =) Dunno how many times since Sunday that i've been looking at that keychain...but it's a lot.

Then around 6 we got back on the subway to the train station. We decided to take the train home and arrived in Antwerp around 7.30 (i think). I didn't stay in scoutel very long, since we were both tired and needed some sleep.
It really was an awesome day =) =) =) At night, my voice (!!! =p ) was almost totally gone. I'm really not used to talking so much XD .

The Most Amazing week (part 1)

The past week was soooo amazing =) =) =)

I miss my big sis a lot =( But then again, I'm also grateful for the brilliant week we've had =)

Because we did so many things, I'm gonna update in parts. For now, I'll stick to the first night, Sunday July 23th:

On Sunday, I was walking around the house nervously all day. Then at 4, me and my mom finally left for the airport in Brussels. We got there around 4.45, and sat down somewhere to drink something.

Then around 5.30 we went down again, and I positioned myself at the doors where the arriving passengers come out. I got an sms of Kriszti saying that she landed and was waiting for her luggage. I texted back that I would be waiting for her right when she came out. My heart was beating like mad, while I stood there, watching all the people that came through that door.

Then, Kriszti sent me an sms asking where I was, since she was out. "Huh?" Yes, she was out. The problem was that (and we found this out after about half an hour on the phone) she was on another airport. Yes, ANOTHER AIRPORT. Well, it's not much of another airport...just some landing space for airplanes.

At the airport, people told her to get a bus to the train station Brussels midi, and then take a train to the national airport. I told her to take the bus. Me and mom would be picking her up at the train station. Right after I told her that, we got cut off, and I got a message that she could no longer accept calls. Not enough money on her cellphone. Not even enough to sms...
So me and mom hurried out of the airport, and went on our way to Brussels midi. I was sure that Brussels midi meant Brussels central station. So after a crazy trip through Brussels we arrived there, and I went up to a lady to ask where the busses arrived. She told me that those busses arrived in Brussels midi. Well, that's where I was standing right? Uhm, no, Brussels midi is actually Brussels south station.

So I rushed to the car again, asked some policemen how to get to Brussels midi by car, and then we were on the road again. But we couldn't find Brussels south station.
We drove around Brussels, and atarted asking lots of people (in lots of languages). Eventually we found someone who got us up the right way. And then finally, we arrived at Brussels midi. I jumped out of the car, telling mom i'd be looking for her inside while she tried to find a parking spot. When I ran into Brussels midi, I understood that it was not a good place for a girl to walk around on her own. I ran around the station, and mom joined me about 15 minutes later. I sent Kriszti an sms that mom would be waiting for her at the round box (lmao) that said "toerisme Brussel". I went walking around the station again, trying to find the place where the busses arrived. When I couldn't find it, I went to the telephones to see if I could call her that way. Some phones only worked with credit cards, and some others with prepaid cards. But the shop to buy the cards was closed. I went back to mom, told her about the phones, and she said she'd go have a look. So I stayed at the "round box"...

Only a minute later, i saw a girl, wearing jeans (short, but still longer than the knee lol) and a blouse, coming up to me. I only remember going "oh god" and hugging her... =) I went to get mom, and we finally left the station.

A little hour later, around 10, we arrived in Antwerp. Kriszti had reserved a room in a youth hostel. So I went with her, installed her in her room, and we finally had some time to talk. She also had some awesome gifts for me, my brother and my mom =)
I left the youth hostel around 10.55, had bad luck with the subway, and realized that my bus had gone when I arrived at the bus station. So I texted mom, telling her I'd be waiting for the next one, but she got seriously mad at me and said she'd come to get me. So half an hour later, I was in the car with a super-angry mom, but she got a bit more forgiving when I showed her the gifts of Kriszti.

So well, let's just say I'll deffo remember that night in 40 years :p

My heart ...

... is pounding like mad.

Tomorrow around this time, Kriszti will be here...omg, where have those 60 days gone? =)

I'm too nervous to write about anything else.

Oh yeah, one thing that I can come up with: I love hot summers.

In-depth writing

When I was lying on my bed, about 10 min ago, I was thinking of some in-depth stuff to write here. It was all there, nice in my head, but I forgot.

Looking back at this blog and the stuff I've been writing in it, a not-so-good thought crossed my mind. I asked myself if people who read this would get a good idea of who I am. The answer is no. This has, of course, also to do with the fact that I don't write that often. But still, when I do write, it's random stuff most of the time.

*re-reads every single entry of this blog*

Well, actually...for me it does mean quite a lot. Re-reading everything also brought back memories that had already escaped my mind. It's funny to read about my thoughts on the "February thing" =)
So I guess this blog isn't useless at all. It's very useful...for me. And if other people choose to read it, that's nice.
I gotta admit that I do have this "urge to express myself to other people". When I was younger, one of my biggest wishes was to become a (famous) writer. Writing a book that other people can actually pick up and read sounded (and still sounds ) so awesome. The bad thing is that I've lost my "writing skills", if I ever had them.

Well, enough about writing, let's get back to the moment here and now.

I've just started reading my 4th (I think) book of this summer. I didn't read too much today though, cause I tend to get headaches really fast lately. The pain seems to come from my neck, and it gets worse and worse, until I feel like my head is gonna explode. :(
Gotta see a doctor if this doesn't stop.

I still haven't finished studying the theory for the driver's license. It's so dull. lol! *promises herself to do some more tonight*

Okay I feel like stopping now.

Well one last remark: I should use more pictures here. It's so boring: all text, text and text.

Anyway, I'm off.

Got my laptop back!

Yay title says it all =) I was so suprised 'cause I didn't expect it before next week.

I haven't been sleeping much the last two nights. And today I worked from 8 till 18...I'm exhausted. My damn feet are killing me.

I seriously need the upcoming week of doing nothing :p hehe

ahhhhhhhh I love July =)

I'm weird...

So I wanted to post this quiz-thingy on here, but it didn't work, so i'll just tell you what it said: "You're 50% weird. You're normal enough to realize that you're weird, but you're too weird to do something about it." Lol =)

Frankly, I think 50% is seriously underestimated :p

First of all, some really great music to check out here: www.theveronicas.com I absolutely love their song "When it all falls apart". Haven't been able to listen to much more (slow computer remember) but it seems promising. I wanted to ask someone to buy their album as a birthday gift for me, but it's not getting released here untill august 28th...I might order it online though.

Then apart from that I don't have much to say...all days have been pretty much the same so far. I've been bored like hell the first three days, but I'm slowly adapting to holiday-mood now. I guess my mind just has to get used to the fact that I can just sit down, do whatever I like, without feeling guilty about it :)

Tomorrow i'm gonna see the Da Vinci code =) I planned on seeing it the day it came out, but hey, better late than never.
For the rest of the day, I'll have to go looking for a good book to read...I've finished two already...yes, in about 10 days =)
And I also wanna do some more studying for the theory exam (drivers license)...so I guess (hope?) no boredom tomorrow =)

I was watching tv earlier tonight, and it showed fragments of people in the airport waiting for family to come home. I can't believe I'll be standing there in exactly 18 days, waiting for my big sis to come of the plane. I still feel like it's all a wonderful dream =)

Goodbye highschool, hello ......?

Nope, I did not disappear. I have to admit that I had imagined my "I finished highschool"-entry to be quite different.

The reason for the lack of updates is easy: my laptop stopped working. I can't connect the battery charger to the computer anymore, so there is no power. I was hoping it would be fixed soon, but since it won't, I'll use our old computer for an update.

Here is a little record of the past week:

On Friday, june 23th, I did my last exam. I went home, had lunch, and wanted to sleep a bit, but decided to go to Antwerp with a friend instead. Unfortunately, on Saturday, I had to get up at 6.45 to go to work. When i came home around midday, I was completely exhausted. Luckily, I started to feel better at night.
I tidied my room on Sunday :s
Then on Monday, we (= me, Ilke, Ellen and Lise) went to the seaside in Holland with the first-years of our school. Even though I wasn't looking forward to the trip at all, it turned out to be fun :) Pictures might follow later, as I can't put them on this computer.

Then on Tuesday I didn't do much. Went to school around 16.30 to hear that I passed.

I can't remember what I did on Wednesday :s Oh yeah, I went shopping lol. Bought a dress for graduation.

Then on Thursday, I went to school in the morning to hand in my schooldiary and get some instructions for graduation. Then at night, the moment was finally there: the official end of my carreer in highschool. Graduation itself was cool, but some moments were a bit boring. I'm proud to tell you that I managed not to do anything stupid (like falling over wires or so), and the entire thing passed (almost) without any emberassing moments. My results were good, and so were those of my friends. At least the work paid off then. Oh yeah, I even got the prize for religion (lol!).
After graduation we got our yearbook, and had a drink. Mom convinced me to go to my English teacher of last year to thank him for the influence he had had on my future. It felt quite emberrassing at the moment itself, but now I'm glad I told him. Around 11 me and mom said goodbye to more theachers and friends, and then went home.

Friday morning, I walked into Sint-Michiel (and yes, thats the name of my school...well, ex-school) for the last time. For the last time as a student I mean. I sold my books, and joined Ilke in selling hers. Then afterwards, we sat down and talked for another hour, until Ilke had to leave. Me and Ellen left a few minutes later. I turned around, gave the schoolgrounds a last look, and then walked on... goodbye high school.

After counting down the days till graduation, my feelings are rather mixed. I'm glad the schoolyear is over, but on the other hand I think I'm gonna miss it too. Suddenly college doesn't look that attractive anymore. I'm still looking forward to it, of course, but it just seems to be rather scary now. I think I'm gonna miss the "safe" feeling I had in Sint-Michiel.

Right now, I'm on holiday, and i'm free until the 31st of July (In August, I'll be working).
Since yesterday, the weather got very good, and I hope it will stay that way as long as possible.
Today it's exactly three weeks until Kriszti's arrival =) =) =)

I think i've written enough for now...i'm gonna find something to eat for lunch, and then enjoy the weather.

Week of bad news + the countdown continues

This week seems to be one of bad news.
On Friday a boy in my brother's class died very unexpectedly. So my bro's shocked. Then when I came home from school today, mom told me that one of our cats had died :( The weird thing is that it doesn't seem to affect me that much. I guess that after the death of our previous cat (which left me devastated for two weeks) I didn't attach myself too much to this one. But still, I'll miss her :( She wasn't even two years old yet :(

Then on the other hand, i'm quite glad that my exams are going well so far. Except for a part of math that is lol. I hope the upcoming four will be okay too :)
I can't wait for Friday, when it'll be all over. :) The moment I've been looking forward too for 10 months will soon be there =)

oh yeah: 34 days left =)

I feel like I missed the best day of my life

Okay, to make a long story short: Friday night, Anastacia performed in Denmark. I wanted to go there so badly, and then Kim (from Holland) told me that I could come along with them if I liked. But well, my mom said no. And all the begging didnt change her mind :( The reason I wanted to go there, was not only to see Anastacia, but actually because Solveig and Dan were going there... and meeting them at an anaconcert would have been awesome. But well, mom stil said no.

The concert was yesterday... and now I just heard that Kim and the other Dutch girls met Solveig. And they were standing close to Dan. And to top it all, Kim and her "gang" (lol) met Anastacia ...

When I see the pics and read the awesome stories, all I can think of is what i've missed out on :(

I was hoping that writing it down would make the feeling go away... but it didn't :(

The shape of things to come

So. Nice title huh? =) Well, I felt like writing about this summer lol.
In about a month, i'll finish high school. Describing my feelings about that would take hours, so I'm gonna leave that for when the time is actually there.

What I've been busy with today, is July =) Kriszti's visa card finally arrived, so she could book the tickets :D So it's all for real now =) =) =) =) Booking accomodation was a bit more difficult, but we managed to do it anyway lol. So my big sis arrives July 23th at 17.40... Mom also had a cool idea for my 18th birthday...it's gonna be awesome =)

(click for larger version)

Today I have broken my record of time-spend-on-msn i think. Not that that's a good thing, cause i should have been studying my ass off. Well, I'll be a good girl tomorrow and do it all then.

Now i just wanna sit down, and think of July.

Oh btw, lyrics of my fave song of the moment:

When you're close to tears remember
Some day it'll all be over
One day 'we're gonna get so high
And though it's darker than December
What's ahead is a different colour
One day 'we're gonna get so high

And at
The end of the day
We'll remember the days
We were close to the edge
And we'll wonder how we made it through
And at
The end of the day
We'll remember the way
We stayed so close to till the end
We'll remember it was me and you

'Cause we are gonna be forever you and me
You'll always keep me flying high in the sky of love

Don't you think it's time you started
Doing what we always wanted
One day 'we're gonna get so high
'Cause even the impossible is easy
When we got each other
One day 'we're gonna get so high

And at
The end of the day
We'll remember the days
We were close to the edge
And we'll wonder how we made it through
And at
The end of the day
We'll remember the way
We stayed so close to till the end
We'll remember it was me and you

'Cause we are gonna be forever you and me
You will always keep me flying high in the sky of love

High, high, high, high...

(Lighthouse Family - High)

So beautiful... =)

Big thank you goes to Ilke for sending it to me :)

Barcelona - part two

Note: I do not expect anyone to read this lol. The main reason I wrote this is for myself, just cause I like to hold on to the memory. So don't feel guilty if you don't feel like reading this essay. I won't be mad at ya :p

Oh yeah: pictures will follow tomorrow, cause i really gotta start some schoolwork now.

So the story continues:

Monday morning we got up at 7, had breakfast in the hotel, and then got on the bus, which brought us to the centre of Barcelona, for a “city-rally”. We walked around, solving questions about various buildings, streets, etc… Then at 1 in the afernoon, we had an hour and a half to have lunch in Barcelona, on our own. At 14.30, the buses would pick us up at a museum. If we were late, they wouldnt wait, and we’d have to get to the next spot ourselves.

Just when we were looking for somewhere to have lunch, I got something in my eye that hurt like hell. I was lucky that we had Joy with us, a girl who knew Barcelona quite well, and showed me the way to the nearest toilets. Then when we finally had lunch, the waitress understood our order wrong, and we had to wait even longer for her to bring the right stuff. Eventually we ended up eating half of our lunch on the way to the underground (or tube, whatever you wanna call it). As soon as we got out at the right stop, we ran out into the streets of Barcelona, and raced to the right museum. We arrived exactly at 14.30. Perfect timing.

Next thing to visit was the Sagrada familia. Gaudi started building this cathedral, but died before he could finish it. Now it’s being finished by someone else. It’s quite impressive to see. We went all the way up the stairs. Right behind us was one of the cutest guys I had ever seen. Really, he was soooooo hot! Too bad he left the queu and took another way…but even then, we spotted him from our position, and my friend even managed to take a picture of him. Lol!

But back on topic: the view from the top of the cathedral was very nice. On the way back down, one of my knees hurt like hell though. When we got out of the church, we decided to try and spot the hottie when he came out. Too bad Joy told us she had seen him leave at the other side. But then, when we were going back to the buses, we saw him again. We started acting so weird, screaming at Joy that we spotted him again… he must have noticed that lol. He probably thought we were completely nuts. Maybe he was right.

After the Sagrada Familia, we went to Parc Guëll. It’s a beautiful place, pictures will follow soon I hope (I didnt have my own camera with me that day, so I have to wait for others to give me their pics). After Parc Guëll we went back to the hotel to have dinner. Later that night I had to go to an IMAX-film. It took me about 8 minutes to fall asleep lol. After the movie, we had to walk back all the way down the Ramblas. There we waited about 20 minutes for a bloody bus (this is actually quite a longer story, but I can’t be bothered to write it all out). Eventually I came back at the hotel at 1.40(!) where I found out that Ellen and Ilke had been so nice to stay awake till I arrived. The other day we had to get up at 7 again… I am the kind of person who really needs a lot of sleep, and I did not get that that night. So the rest of the day was filled with tiredness. I went to see the waxwork show, which was quite nice. After that we walked to the Parc de la Ciutadella. Our teachers dropped us there, and we spend about 15 minutes trying to find the way out of the parc and get something to eat…

In the afternoon we visited the Miro-museum (which i found quite boring) and the Olympic stadion. Then after dinner in the hotel, I was supposed to go to a “flamenco-night”. But I felt so exhausted that I asked a teacher if I could stay in the hotel. Thank God he said yes. I do regret not seeing the flamenco though… But at least I got some decent sleep that night. Then after breakfast on Wednesday morning, we left for Nou Camp, the stadium of FC Barcelona :D When we were waiting to go in, lots of expensive cars arrived, and everybody was trying to see who was in it. We (well, the boys) recognised some players. We then went inside, and started the tour. Even though I passed my “football-stage”, I absolutely loved this! And guess what, when some of us were walking through a hallway, we suddenly saw Ronaldinho walking below us! Now how cool is that? hehe

After the tour I bought some stuff for my bro (who is, of course, a real football freak) and then we got back on the bus. We had dinner in the city-centre again, and after that I had to go to the aquarium. That was cool, but it got quite boring in the end. Later in the afternoon, I met again with Ilke, Ellen and Yasmine to go shopping. I bought some souvenirs for mom and grandma, and a little Barcelona handbag for myself. When we were tired of shopping, we decided to go back to the hotel… and did what I so wanted to do in Barcelona: we took a cab. Lol! Then we had dinner in the hotel, packed our stuff, and left for a late-night walk to the “Palau Nacional”. The view from there was amazing!

After the walk, we were allowed to stay in the city, as long as we were back in the hotel by 0.30. We decided quite fast to just go back to the hotel, and have a drink in the bar there.

The next day was “leaving-day” already… So after breakfast we hurried to take down our luggage, and get it on the bus (well, the boys did that for us). Then we left for Figueras, a cute Spanish town. We visited the Dali museum (quite impressive) and had dinner in nice little restaurant. After that, we got back on the bus, and went to the beach of San Margarida. We relaxed on the beach (sun, sand, see and…. palm trees!) until it was time for dinner. After dinner we had our “goodbye-party”. It was fun, some friend-who-shall-not-be-named really enjoyed the Spanish beer. Then at about 0.30 it was really time to go… We got on the bus, for an 18-hour trip back Belgium. I didn’t sleep at all during the night, but during the day the trip was okay. Then eventually, at about 19 i think, we arrived back at school, parents waiting.

The end of what had been, at least for me, a brilliant week. There were less good moments too ofcourse... but somehow, I always forget about them when I think about the good ones :)

And now somehow all thats left are... pieces of a dream. (lol i just had to get it in somewhere!)

Now it's back to school life, realising how much there is to do before the exams. How come I can't seem to make an "exam-planning" (dutch word)? Everybody does it, but I just don't seem to be able to do it. And if I do, I don't stick to it. I need some disciplin here. Help me!!!
Lol.

Barcelona - part 1

I'm back from Barcelona =) I had an awesome week, really tiring, but so much fun!
The week went by really fast. We did so much in only a few days, it's gonna take a while to write an entire report. I started today, with the first two days. The rest will follow tomorrow i hope. Enjoy, and please don't mind all the spelling mistakes I probably made. I'm still tired okay? hehe.
Oh yeah, pics coming soon too!

Here we go:

Saturday was a stressful day for me. I don’t like packing. Not at all. But with mom’s help, I eventually managed to get everything I needed in the suitcase.
Then at 4.30 in the afternoon mom prepared me some dinner, and I was ready to go. We arrived at school, me feeling quite stupid for having so much luggage for just a week. In case you wanted to know, this is what I brought: my suitcase, a backpack with food, a cushion (for sleeping in the bus), a bag (with cellphone, wallet, mp3player,…), and another bag with my bikini and a towel. I was quite relieved when I saw Ilke who had brought almost as much stuff as I had.

It took about 45 minutes for everybody to arrive and put their luggage in the buses. Then finally, at about 6.30, we left, parents waving and trying to spot their sons and daughters in the buses.

I don’t remember that much of the beginning of the trip. I do remember that my friend taught me how to solve a sudoku =) So for all you people laughing at me because I couldnt do it before: Nah! I’m smarter than you think!
Anyway, something I do remember is that I didn’t get much sleep on that bus. Neither did Ilke, and I ended up sitting between Ilke and Steve who were playing golf on their (bluetooth) cell phone.

Then the next morning at 7.30 we arrived in France, at the Pont du Gard. We ate the breakfast we had brought (squached sandwiches, yummie!) and we were allowed to swim in the (icecold) river if we wanted. Even though I had brought my bikini, I really didn’t feel like doing that lol. So we just watched the other people jumping in the water.
Then at 9 we had to get back on the bus, and we drove to Les Beaux-de-Provence. This is a little village with some kind of a medieval castle and ruins. After looking around, we had two hours left to look at the cute shops in the village and get something to eat. Then at 12 we had to get in the bus once again, for a 6-hour drive to Barcelona. I don’t really remember that much about that trip anymore either, but I do remember that it was boring. Oh, and before I forget: French toilets suck! lol

Then at 7.30 we finally arrived in Barcelona :D Our teacher gave us the key of our room, and we had half an hour before we were expected in the “dining room”. Me, Ilke and Ellen shared a room, which was very nice and, according to other people, very big. Dinner in the hotel was very good =) Then after dinner we had some more time to un-pack, and at 9.30 we went for a walk, and I got my first impression of the city: very big, and very beautiful =)

Then we got back at the hotel, had some trouble waking Ilke up (she had to open the door to let us in our room) and then finally went to bed.

To be continued ... lol =)

Rope skipping and ready for Barcelona

It's been a while since I last updated. I guess I'm just a very bad blogger. lol.
Well, this week went by quite fast.

Last Sunday, I went to the "democup" of rope-skipping. For those of you who don't know what rope-skipping is, go to http://www.rope-skipping.be . (You can change the language to English on top of the page.)
So, this "democup" is a competition in which the best teams of Flanders show off their rope-skipping skills. It's very spectacular and really cool to watch :D And of course, the fact that my cousin was in the competition too, made it even cooler :) Her team did very well, but they didn't make it to the final...

Then on Monday (day off) I just sat at home, trying to convince myself to do some Latin translation. Well, I did half of it after all.

And well, the rest of the week has been quiet.

And now... it's time to leave for Barcelona :D (well, not literally now lol). I'm quite excited about it... Just hope the weather will be nice :) I'm gonna miss my laptop (and internet connection!) a lot though. Lol. But I'll survive. It's gonna be really tiring too. But I'm really looking forward to just seeing something new and being away from home for a while.

Well... that's it I guess. Got a letter to finish now =). And then it's time to say goodbye to some people on msn :( Lol, but really, I'll only be gone for a week :)

No title

Why am I so tired?
Why do things never work out the way I want them to?
Why do I wanna go asleep, and never, ever get out of bed again?
Why does my whole fricking body hurt like hell?
And why, and this worries me the most of all, why doesnt even chocolate taste good anymore?

*sigh*

I'm tired.

Schooltrip to Cap Griz-nez (France) and more

Well, I got time for a quick update now :)
On Friday we went on a schooltrip to the coast of France. We had to be in school at 6.45 :o And no, i'm not kidding. Thank god I managed to get some "sleep" during the (three-hour!) bus-ride.
Anyway, the trip turned out to be a bit more fun than i imagined it would be. Even though finding the right stones (fossils, wotever) was hard...well, we managed to find six of them eventually. All on our own ... :p hehe
When we got back home at 7.45, i was exhausted :s

The weekend went by quite fast. Nothing special happened...

In 9 days i'll be going to Barcelona =) Even though i dont usually like schooltrips, i'm quite looking forward to this one. But I seriously need more time (and money!) to buy the stuff i still need for the trip. Like sunglasses =) Lol, I love them!

Another nice thing to look forward to: I'll be having the best birthday ever this year with my big sis coming =) =) =) Even though she told me about it three weeks ago (and i cant believe its really been three weeks!) I still can't believe it. Lol :) But at random times, I suddenly realise that it's really happening and i go like: *imagine me jumping around with a smile thats nearly eating my face* hehe =)

That's it for now, I should start studying for my French test.
And oh yeah, in exactly two months, I will have finished my final exams (read: finished highschool). What an amazing feeling that must be.
But for tonight, i'm stuck to French.

EDIT: I counted wrong, Barcelona is 10 days from now lmao!

Back to school :(

Title says it all lol. Well, school isn't that bad. It's just... *sigh*

On a brighter note, a very sweet person sent me the songs of P!nk's new album (I'm not dead).
It's bloody brilliant :D Such powerful songs :) I already regret not ordering tickets for her show. But well, I wanna save my money for Shakira.

Uhm...well thats it for today i think. It's 21.09 but i'm sooooo tired already...

Leo

I'm feeling bloody sick right now, so in an attemp to think of something else than what's in my stomach, I was randomly surfing the internet.
I came up with this:

Leo ( July 23 to August 22 ) :

Traditional
Leo Traits:

Generous and warmhearted
Creative and enthusiastic
Broad-minded and expansive
Faithful and loving

On the dark side....

Pompous and patronizing
Bossy and interfering
Dogmatic and intolerant

eh...well, it's interesting to read, but ... it doesn't really sound like me. Actually, it doens't sound like me at all. I'm more the opposite. But whatever, it's up to you guys to judge.

Before I forget: Happy Easter everybody!!!

And ....HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISZTI !!! =) =) =) =) =)

Art

I've been having some fun with photoshop lately, and this is what i've come up with so far:

I went walking with a friends ponies today... that was fun =)

I'm starting to realize I really have a lot of homework to finish :s Gonna have to work a lot the upcoming days. But well, I didn't do anything last week, so I shouldn't complain. :)

Oh, and last but not least: my bro's braces :D

LOl!

From February-thing to Easter prezzie :D

Well, I said I was gonna tell about the brilliant news I got :D
It's easy to say: Kriszti is coming to Belgium!!!
Explaining how much that means to me is a bit harder :s And since I know I'm not gonna be able to put that into words, I'll just leave it. Hehe.
Her timing was absolutely brilliant...she's coming in june, for my graduation =)
God, I really can't wait... =) =) =) =) =)

*Dream on, dream on, dream till your dreams come true!*

And everybody (and I really mean everybody) knew about it. Since october... and they managed to keep it a secret for half a year...
I really admire you guys =)

So... the countdown has begun I guess!

Thank you hun =)

Weekend trip

Today we (thats me, mom and my bro) came back from a weekend trip to the seaside.
We stayed in the apartment of one of my moms friends :)
It's the light blue building in the pic, second floor:

The first day we just explored the neighbourhood a little bit lol.
Then on Saturday the weather was rather bad, so we went to a subtropical indoor pool =) We used to do that a lot when me and my bro were younger, and this really brought back lots of memories lol. I had a lot of fun that afternoon =) When we left the pool, the weather was a lot better. So at night, we did some walking on the beach:
Mom and bro:

Me:

Then on Sunday the weather was very bright. Still quite cold, but nice :)
Mom wanted to make a long walk on the beach to the next town. Even though i dont like walking that much, I thought it was a nice idea. Only one problem: the day before in the pool, i had hurt my leg a bit. So walking in the sand didn't feel good lol. The walking didn't turn about to be that much fun. But then again, I still had a good time. In the end we decided to walk through the dunes for a while. That was quite painful for my legs, but fun in the end =)

The rest of the afternoon we just stayed in the apartment. I couldnt be bothered to get out of the sofa lol. At night, we got some icecream (well a waffle for me ) and walked over the beach a little more. lol.
Then Monday morning we had to go home...

It felt really nice to be away for a while... but I gotta admit I was also glad to be back home =) I really missed my internet connection lol.
And during this trip, I also realized that I should really really really exercise a bit more LOL!

When I came home, I got some brilliant news too. I'd been waiting for it for ages (read: since september/october) and wow, it was worth the waiting =) But i'll tell that in another post =)

I'm so lazy :p

Hehe yeah, i've been soooo lazy today. I didn't even bother to pick up my book and read. Still gotta read one book and a half and make the reading reports though. But what the heck, I couldn't be bothered today.

All I did was sitting in front of my laptop. I've always wanted to learn how to make nice graphics. So I read some tutorials and started experimenting with Photoshop. It's damn hard though...Anyway, after hours of work, I finally made something that's not looking too bad :) Ok, there is room for a lot of improvement, but it's a start. Lookie:

Oh yeah, spoken of graphics... that reminds me: I still need to take a picture of my bro's braces. They're pink!! Haha omg I love them! Picture coming up soon I hope :D

I'm still alive

Yes, I am still alive. I just temporarily disappeared due to loads and loads of school work. Blah.

So... the past few weeks have been rather hectic.
Prom was brilliant, pictures will follow soon I hope. I never had that many people staring at me before. I had a great time, so I guess it was all worth the fuss. Lol.
I've also made my decision for next year: Applied Language Studies, English-Hungarian, in Antwerp. I visited the college and it was really cool :D

Then the past two weeks at school were horrible...sooooo much work. It was really unbelievable. During two entire weeks, the only thing that was in my head was "how late am I gonna have to work tonight?". Sad, i know.
Well, some other things happened too, but I'm too lazy to write about that now.

And now it's finally Eastern Holidays!!! If only the weather would get a bit better.... lol

A weird day

Today was a weird and sad day.

First of all, our entire class went to the funeral of a classmate's dad. It was so sad. At certain moments, I really had a hard time holding back my tears. I didn't even know her that well. But there were two songs that really got me.

In the afternoon, we went to a thing called "Sid-in". Its a place where all universities and colleges in Flanders are represented. So you can ask things, and get all the brochures you want. I talked to a woman from the college I am considering attending, and I got some very useful information. Next Saturday, I'll be going to an "info-day". And I hope that that night, I'll be able to say: "This is it. I made my choice."

Then after the "sid-in"- thingy, we went back to school. There we practised our opening-dance for prom for the first time. It went pretty well =) I just hope I'll manage to do it on heels too.

Now I should do some studying. But I'm really not in the mood for that.
The funeral really got me down. The rest of the day I've been feeling really weird...so sad... I hope it'll be better tomorrow.

Spring holiday...

So, my one-week spring holiday is over.
It didn't really go the way I planned it. I got sick on Tuesday, and haven't been feeling great the entire week. But well, I slept a lot, so that's all good. I went to work two days extra, so also earned some money. And I also learned that I should not think that during a week off, I can get some homework done. Lol, I did everything today. Very last minute. But well, it's over now.

So what's next? Four weeks of - probably - lots of work at school. Visiting colleges. Prom. And then, April 1st: Eastern Holiday! =) =) =)

What a week

I've really had a busy and tiring week.
It started on Wednesday, when I had to get to Brussels to participate in a language competition. It was the first time ever I'd take a train on my own. And to get that train, I had to get up at 5.30. Anyway, it went suprisingly well :) Then once in Brussels, I had to go to the university by *what's the word in english?* "subway"? Lol, anyway, even that was easier than I thought.
I did the "tests" for French and English. Those were soooooo hard. It included grammar and spelling exercises, a listening comprehension and a writing test. Especially the writing was very hard, because we had to write about some economic topics, which I don't know that much about. But it was a nice experience :) And I was allowed to skip school that day, so... :p

I got home from Brussels at 16.30. That night we also went to see a play with school. I got back home at 11, and all I wanted was to go to bed.

Then Thursday was another tiring day at school. That night, we went out for dinner with the entire class. It turned out to be more fun than I had expected it to be. Even though me and my friend left after dinner, because we were to tired. The rest of the class went partying. I still wonder where they got the energy lol.

Friday was the big day lol. "Chrysostemos" is a day in Belgium where the students of the sixth year celebrate their last 100 days in highschool :) It's some kind of carneval. The students also organize a show for the younger pupils, and during lunch break we sell hotdogs, pancakes, hot chocolate and waffels. I was dressed up as a princess. Not very original, I know, but it was fun :) Anyway, the day was fun, but I was exhausted when I got home. I just wanted to lay down on my bed and do nothing.
"unfortunately" I had to go to a party that night. And even though I was exhausted, it was a lot of fun. It was a suprise party, and omg lol, you should have seen my friends face :D Anyway, it was fun, but i was also quite happy when i got to my bed.

Then today i slept late, and went to work. Now holidays have finally started...WOOOT

About music...

Isn't it amazing how listening to an old song can bring back memories? It's like, I put this song on, and suddenly all the memories come back.
Sometimes I really believe that music can be more effective than diaries...cause with the memories, they also bring back the real emotions... like for a few minutes, you're going back in time...

Btw...4 days left. Probably some of the busiest in my life. But I try to enjoy it. If only I slept better.

Thursday, February 16, 2006

8 days left...

Just 8 more days....

Sunday, February 12, 2006

No inspiration...

I seriously need some time off... still there are two weeks left until spring holiday. Blah. I've been feeling rather sick lately. Pain in the stomach, headache, etc. Dubble blah. It really gets me down, cause I know I'm not good company at all these days. And even though people don't tell me, I know I annoy them. And that feeling sucks.

It's kinda weird cause, even though I've not been feeling brilliant, I've had nice dreams lately. One night I dreamed that I met Anastacia. The other night I just dreamed about... how easy life was when I was younger. I'd wake up on a Saturday morning, and enjoy the fact that it was the weekend. Just like that. No worries about work, family arguments, school-stuff, or whatsoever. Then during the day you'd go somewhere... anywhere... like the zoo or something, and just have fun.

I really hate growing up.

Oh yeah, just to test if i can post pics here: Ana and Kelly at the Grammies :)

New skin and huge update

New skin! I think it looks cute :) I still need to add some stuff, but i'm so lazy now... blah.

So what's been happening lately. Not that much really... oh yeah, i found a prom dress! Lol, and yes, i'm so proud of it :D

Yesterday I was awake for 20 hours. I woke up to go to work at 6.45. Worked till one in the afternoon. Then i went home, did some school work, had dinner, chatted with some people and then i had to go babysitting. I got back home at 1.45 at night. And it took me another hour to fall asleep...yay. I slept till 11 this morning :) Which, in case you were wondering, is quite late for me.

Then today i did more studying, since i have a hell of a week coming up.
In the afternoon, i went to a shop to buy stuff i need to dress as a witch. We have some kind of carneval at school, but only for the 6th years. Anyway, i ended up buying a princess-dress instead :p Complete with crown, pearl necklace, etc...

So the weekend went by very fast. On saturday it was exactly a year ago that i saw anastacia live for the second time :) Really, time passes by so fast...

I'm gonna enjoy my last free hours now. Oh yeah, i heard kelly clarkson's new song on the radio today. "Because of you". I totally love it. So beautiful...

Life goes on...

It's been a week since my last entry here, and that's simply cause there is nothing to tell. School is ok lately, as long as I manage to get enough sleep every night, it's really not that bad. And yes, I'm trying to convince myself here. But then again, maybe next year around this time, I'll be looking back on this year, saying "it wasn't that bad at all actually".

Now the "decision-making" time has really begun. Everybody keeps asking everybody what they want to go study next year. And I often feel like it's weird to hear people who I've known for years say what they probably want to do for the rest of there lives. It kinda scares me. I'm also starting to realise that next year, me and my friends won't be at the same school anymore. I'm quite sure I'll keep seeing them (well most of them) but still... summer holidays are gonna be weird.
I've been focusing so much on the "counting down till I finish the bloody high school" that I forgot about those things. Maybe I should think a little bit of getting my priorities right...

Back to school

It's Tuesday now, so I survived the first two days back at school. It was ok I guess... just loads and loads of assignements :(
What I really hate about school, is the fact that I always feel like my days are so..."full and fixed". I get up, hurry to leave for school, come back home at around 16.30, relax a little bit, do homework, dinner, homework, and then there is very little time left to do what I really like. And all days are the same *sigh* well, except for Wednesday and weekends of course lol.
Oh and the homework.... tests for this, assignements for that, aaarghhhh. Lol.

Anyway, enough complaining now... time to do some reading i think. Or chatting. Or "messageboarding" LOL... nice word huh? Well... I haven't got much more interesting to say. So I'm off, goodnight!

Ugh

School starts again tomorrow... and that should say enough about how I feel. :(
Luckily I have some very nice people on msn... Some truly wonderful people. Honestly, I dunno where I'd be without them. :)

Shame on me

Here we are, the first week of January, and I'm already neglecting my blog. Shame on me. Lol. Well, not much has happened the last couple of days. It was just computer, reading, computer, and more computer. Oh yes, I love the holidays!

I went shopping yesterday. Tried on at least 25 pairs of jeans, and was nearly desperate at the end of the afternoon. But then my cousing took me to a shop where I finaly found a nice pair that looked good on me :) So in the end, the day wasn't a complete waste of time. I also bought this cute belt :) I still need lots of other stuff though, like a jacket and t-shirts etc, but really, I hate shopping at the moment. Ugh.

Today I did some school stuff. Very very boring. And I really need to continue reading in my book. And tomorrow I have to work. *sigh*

I was thinking about blogging today. I've been reading lots of blogs lately (of people I don't even know) and it hit me that they often put emotional stuff on there too. Like when they're feeling down, or hurt, etc. Or when they're in love. I don't think I could do that. I'm not the kind of person who easily shares her emotions. Definately not. But when I come to that point, you'll notice. Lol. I'm off now. Bye!

Well....

The first day of the year, time for a new blog =)
So this is were I have to put my newyear resolutions i guess...*sigh* Ah well, why not:
  • learn to drive
  • meet some special people
  • be nice(r) to my family
  • see anastacia live for the fifth time
  • ...
I know, those aren't really resolutions...but I really can't come up with anything. I could say that I'm gonna exercice more, but I know that I won't do that anyway, so what's the point in writing in down then?
